Clinic Policies
Botox and Prescription-Only Treatments Policy
Brighton Aesthetic fully complies with UK regulations for prescription-only medicines (POMs), including Botulinum Toxin (Botox), Hyaluronidase (Hylase), and intramuscular vitamin injections (e.g., B12, biotin). These treatments require a face-to-face consultation with a qualified prescriber (doctor, dentist, nurse prescriber, or pharmacist prescriber) to assess medical history, suitability, and issue a personalised prescription. This applies to both new and returning clients.
Our Process
Consultation Booking: Arrange a face-to-face consultation on designated prescriber clinic days. A £30 non-refundable deposit secures your slot.
Consultation: The prescriber evaluates your needs, reviews your medical history, and issues a prescription if appropriate.
Treatment Scheduling: Approved treatments are booked following prescription issuance.
Key Notes
The £30 deposit covers consultation and prescription costs and is non-refundable.
Missed consultations forfeit the deposit.
From June 1, 2025, remote prescribing by nurses will be banned, aligning with our existing in-person consultation practice (NMC Update).
Age Restriction Policy
Under the Botulinum Toxin and Cosmetic Fillers (Children) Act 2021, we do not provide Botox or cosmetic fillers to individuals under 18 for cosmetic purposes. Valid identification is required to verify age.
Privacy Policy
We adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018. Client data is used solely for treatment purposes and is not shared without consent, except where required by law.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Consultations: A £30 non-refundable deposit is required. Cancellations or missed appointments forfeit this fee.
Treatments: Cancellations require 48 hours’ notice; otherwise, a 50% treatment cost fee may apply.
Refunds: Treatments are non-refundable once administered. Contact us to discuss concerns.
